Paolo Dell’Elce is an industrial designer based in Milan, working across product design, furniture, lighting and interiors. His work focuses on proportion, construction and material clarity, with particular attention to how objects are used and experienced.
He studied Industrial Design at Politecnico di Milano and at the Oslo School of Architecture and Design (AHO). Over the past 15 years, he has led design and product development across different contexts, combining independent work with roles within established practices. From 2007 to 2014 he worked at Danese Milano, where he served as Design Director from 2011 to 2014. In 2015 he joined the Milan office of David Chipperfield Architects, where he leads furniture and product design, becoming Associate Director in 2025.
His work has received international recognition, including a Compasso d’Oro honorable mention and a Red Dot Award, and has been exhibited at institutions such as Triennale di Milano, Museo Poldi Pezzoli, Museo dell’Ara Pacis and Kunstraum München.
