Pleat - Artemide, 2011

Pleat is a synthesis between a recycled and folded aluminium body just three millimetres thick and the PCB (printed circuit board) integrated into it.
A fragmented emission with 36 LEDs and a calculated geometry obtained through simple cuts and folds give rise to an optimal solution for a precise wall emission.
With a flow equivalent to that of a 300 W halogen, it uses just 43 W of power. The dissipating surface contributes to maintaining performance over time, limiting the loss of quality of the light sources.
The combination of the controlling circuit and innovative LED technology results in a reduced need for maintaince. Available in the following finishes: matt white painted, natural aluminium.
Design: Carlotta de Bevilacqua & Paolo Dell'Elce
